Stormwater engagement paper and survey
Our stormwater engagement paper seeks feedback on how we can strengthen national leadership and oversight of urban stormwater networks. It provides an overview of the current stormwater landscape, the roles of different organisations, the challenges facing the sector, and the tools available to the Authority to support improved performance over time.
The paper proposes an immediate focus on building a clearer national picture of stormwater performance, supporting water service providers to prepare stormwater network risk management plans by August 2028, and developing National Engineering Design Standards to promote more consistent and efficient infrastructure design.
